'Road accidents are quite natural; Is it a big news?' Actor Baiju confronts media personnel

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Baiju, who is facing legal action after his car collided with a scooter rider in Thiruvananthapuram allegedly under the influence of alcohol, confronted media personnel, asking if the accident was a big news for them, and asked not try to scare him.
Baiju was recorded confronting a private channel team, dismissing their inquiries by stating, "What’s the matter? When a vehicle moves, it can swerve and might end up in accidents like this. Is this a big news for you? I’m not afraid of any of this; you should be looking for someone else (to scare)!"
The accident occurred around 11:45 pm on Sunday at Vellayambalam, when Baiju's car hit the scooterist, who was coming from the Kowdiar direction. Baiju was travelling from the Sasthamangalam area. He attempted to turn his vehicle around upon noticing a roadblock for construction, which led to him losing control and crashing into the scooter.
After hitting a signal post, Baiju’s vehicle eventually came to a stop after colliding with another post. The injured scooter rider was taken to Thiruvananthapuram General Hospital for treatment.
The Museum police have registered a case against him, and it has been reported that Baiju refused to undergo a medical examination. Doctors subsequently informed the police that Baiju exhibited a strong smell of alcohol.
Baiju was later released on station bail.
