Campaign against SFI will be dealt accordingly, says M V Govindan

Kannur: CPM state secretary M V Govindan said that strict action will be initiated against those who launch negative campaigns against SFI. Appreciating the decision of the police to register case against those involved in instigating the ‘Arsho marklist’ controversy, the veteran leader warned that miscreants will face legal action.

“People should actually appreciate the decision of the government. We won’t spare the media that run fake campaigns against the party or its student wing. This shall serve as a warning for the future as well,” said Govindan.

Defending his party’s response to the incident, Govindan said that his party is not against media like the central government. “Those comparisons are baseless. However we won’t tolerate fake campaigns running on channels,” he said.
