A dramatic scene unfolded inside the Supreme Court on Friday after a petitioner appearing in person was escorted out of the courtroom for allegedly abusing judges, calling them 'judicial servants,' and throwing documents during the hearing.

The incident took place before a bench of Justice KV Viswanathan and Justice Alok Aradhe.

According to reports, petitioner Prabal Pratap began his arguments in an aggressive manner, referring to himself as 'the sovereign.'

He reportedly addressed the judges as 'judicial servants' and demanded that they direct the registration of an FIR against the Assistant Commissioner of Police in Lucknow.

Taken aback by the remarks, Justice Viswanathan asked, 'You are ordering me? You are ordering us?'

The exchange soon escalated as the petitioner allegedly continued using abusive language, tossed case papers inside the courtroom, and even made derogatory remarks against the Chief Justice of India.

Court security personnel stepped in immediately and escorted Pratap out of the courtroom, bringing the disruption to an end.

While dismissing the Special Leave Petition, the bench recorded that the petitioner made 'incoherent and unparliamentary utterances' instead of presenting legal arguments.

Despite the outburst, the judges chose not to initiate contempt proceedings, observing that he appeared to be 'very disturbed' and was acting out of frustration.

Justice Viswanathan said the court did not intend to take any action against the petitioner.

On the merits of the case, the bench said it had examined the records and found no reason to interfere with the Allahabad High Court's order, leading to the dismissal of the plea.

The episode is among the rare instances of disorder inside the Supreme Court, where courtroom decorum is generally maintained even during heated proceedings.
