Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi hospitalised in Delhi: Sources

New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi due to a chest-related issue, according to various reports. She is currently under the care of a team of doctors, with Dr Anup Basu overseeing her treatment.
Her daughter, Priyanka Gandhi, is present at the hospital, staying close to her mother during the treatment.
According to hospital sources, Sonia Gandhi’s condition is stable at present.
Earlier in January, the former Congress chief was also admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after experiencing respiratory discomfort. Dr Ajay Swaroop, Chairman of the hospital, confirmed that her bronchial asthma had been slightly aggravated, likely due to a combination of cold weather and environmental pollution.
