Jeddah-bound Calicut flight among 10 IndiGo services hit by bomb threats

As many as 10 domestic and international flights operated by IndiGo airlines received bomb threats on Tuesday.
Out of these, seven flights were on international routes, while three were domestic, adding to a recent string of hoax threats targeting various airlines over the past few days.
The international flights impacted by these threats included Flight 6E 67 from Hyderabad to Jeddah, Flight 6E 18 from Istanbul to Mumbai, Flight 6E 83 from Delhi to Dammam, Flight 6E 77 from Bengaluru to Jeddah, Flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi, Flight 6E 65 from Kozhikode to Jeddah, and Flight 6E 63 from Delhi to Jeddah.
On the domestic front, Flight 6E 164 from Mangaluru to Mumbai, Flight 6E 75 from Ahmedabad to Jeddah, and Flight 6E 118 from Lucknow to Pune also faced delays due to the bomb threats.
This incident followed a similar one just a day prior, where around 30 flights operated by various Indian airlines, including IndiGo, Vistara, and Air India, received bomb threats on Monday night. Last week, over 120 flights operated by Indian carriers faced bomb threats as well.
Although these threats were confirmed as hoaxes, authorities are treating the matter with utmost seriousness.
