404/505 | DMK touts delivery record; eyes voter boost ahead of Tamil Nadu polls

Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi on Monday said the party had fulfilled 404 of the 505 promises made in its previous Assembly election manifesto, while also rolling out several additional welfare schemes beyond those commitments.
Addressing a press conference in Chennai, she noted that some promises remain pending as they require cooperation from the Central Government.
“During the last Assembly elections, we made 505 promises. Out of these, 404 have been fulfilled. At the same time, we have implemented several schemes that were not part of the manifesto,” she said, adding that certain commitments could only be delivered with support from the Centre.
