Udupi hit-and-run: Biker killed, Congress leader’s son arrested | VIDEO

Udupi, Karnataka: The son of a Congress leader was arrested after a bike rider was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Udupi.

The incident took place at around 5:00 am on November 11 in Kaup taluk, Udupi district. The accused, Prajwal Shetty, son of Congress leader Belapu Deviprasad Shetty, was allegedly driving the speeding car that struck and killed the biker. After the incident, Shetty fled the scene.

CCTV footage later surfaced, showing a speeding car hitting a bike traveling in the opposite direction. Shetty was later apprehended by authorities.
