RJD leader tears his clothes, cries over election ticket denial outside Lalu Prasad’s house | VIDEO

Dramatic scenes unfolded on Sunday morning as RJD leader Madan Shah broke down outside the residence of RJD chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. Shah claimed he was promised a ticket for the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.
Visibly distressed, Shah tore his clothes, fell to the ground, and shouted, “They will not form the government; Tejashwi is very arrogant, doesn’t meet people. They are giving away tickets. Sanjay Yadav is doing all this. I have come here to die. Lalu Yadav is my Guru. He had said that he would give me a ticket. They gave a ticket to Santosh Kushwaha, a BJP agent.”
Allegations of broken promises
Shah alleged that in 2020, Lalu Prasad Yadav had called him to Ranchi and conducted a survey regarding the Teli community’s population. “Lalu ji said Madan Shah will defeat Randhir Singh from Madhuban constituency. Tejashwi ji and Lalu ji had called me, they had said that they will give me a ticket. I have been working for the party since the ’90s. I am a poor man; I sold my land,” Shah said, breaking into tears.
Chaos outside Patna residence
Visuals showed Madan Shah chasing after Lalu Prasad Yadav’s car as the former chief minister arrived at his residence amid unrest over ticket distribution. The scene drew media attention, with Shah repeatedly asserting his loyalty to the RJD and his disappointment over being overlooked for the 2025 Assembly elections.
