SRH step up preparations as Pat Cummins and Nitish Reddy train ahead of IPL 2026 eliminator

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins was seen batting alongside Nitish Kumar Reddy during the team’s practice session in Mullanpur on Monday as SRH stepped up preparations for their IPL 2026. Eliminator clash against Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday.

Cummins and Reddy spent a lengthy session in the nets, particularly focusing on tackling spin bowling ahead of the crucial knockout encounter.

The 2016 IPL champions narrowly missed out on a top-two finish due to net run rate despite finishing the league stage with 18 points. Sunrisers Hyderabad will now look to keep their hopes of securing a second IPL title alive when they face the inaugural champions Rajasthan Royals in the Eliminator.
