‘The most vulgar teaser of the decade...’ Internet reacts to Yash's 'Toxic' teaser

The teaser for Yash's much-awaited film Toxic has finally been released, giving fans their first glimpse of the film's world and its star-studded cast. Alongside Yash, the teaser introduces Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth, all of whom play key roles in the film.
Soon after the teaser dropped, social media platform X was flooded with reactions.
One user wrote, "Trying too hard to be an edgy adult movie makes it cringy."
Another commented, "The most VULGAR teaser of the DECADE. #ToxicTheMovie demeans women as an object of sex. Dialogues are not only CHEAP but downright anti-women. Usage of full-blown English will further curtail its reach among the masses."
A third user questioned the film's style, writing, "Kaun se zamane ki movie hai ye ??? Kahan aise log hote hai ?? Hollywood ki copy marke banayee gayee hai." (Which era is this movie from? Where do people like this even exist? It's been made by copying Hollywood)
Another viewer posted, "They just released the teaser for Yash Toxic And I can now understand why this Movie is being delayed day by day. It looks weird And seriously wtf is this line? But here comes a plot twist ladies, don't forget the predictable spectacle of men and their cocks. Idk what they are trying to create but the teaser is not impressive as it was foretold."
One more reaction read, "Oh man, these folks have gone way beyond even SRV's animals!"
The teaser opens with a disclaimer that immediately sets the tone.
It reads: "Kids stay away. Parents make sure your kids stay away. Grandparents make sure your kids' kids stay away. Great Grandparents... at your own risk."
The visuals then introduce the film's central characters.
Yash and Kiara Advani are seen lying on a beach, while Nayanthara appears riding a motorcycle. Tara Sutaria is shown smoking near a bar, Huma Qureshi makes a brief appearance with a confident screen presence that hints at larger plans for her character, and Rukmini Vasanth is seen aiming a revolver at her target.
‘Toxic’ is directed by Geetu Mohandas and stars Yash in the lead role.
The film has been shot in both Kannada and English. It will also be released in dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
