Singer Rajvir Jawanda’s health update: No improvement after 10 days, remains critical on ventilator

Mohali: The health condition of popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda remains critical and unchanged even after more than 10 days of intensive care. Admitted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali following a severe road accident on September 27, Jawanda is currently on life support, with doctors reporting no signs of neurological improvement.
According to reports and hospital sources, Rajvir is being kept on a ventilator, and there have been no signs of movement or response since his admission. Despite continuous administration of medications and 24/7 monitoring, his brain is not receiving sufficient oxygen, a major concern highlighted by the medical team.
Doctors say they are doing everything medically possible to stabilise him. Medications are being used to regulate his heart rate and support vital organs, but as of now, his condition remains critical.
No medical bulletins
Between September 27 and October 3, the hospital issued daily health bulletins updating the public on his condition. However, on October 3, Fortis Hospital stopped issuing further bulletins. Reports state that it is because there had been no major change in his status.
Support from fans and industry
While doctors continue their efforts inside the ICU, fans across Punjab and beyond have turned to prayers, hoping for his recovery. On Sunday, an Akhand Path Sahib was held at Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib in Mohali, organised by his mother and fellow artists. Veteran singer Harbhajan Mann also attended the ceremony to show solidarity.

How did the accident happen?
Rajvir Jawanda met with a serious accident on September 27 while riding his bike towards Shimla. The incident occurred on the Pinjore-Nalagarh Road, where two bulls suddenly ran onto the road, locked in a fight. In an attempt to avoid hitting them, Rajvir lost control of his bike and collided head-on with an oncoming Bolero vehicle.
Rajvir Jawanda, known for chartbusters like Kali Camaro, Shaandaar, and Muchh Te Mashook, has a massive fan base.
