‘I personally witnessed it…in what sense is he a good actor?’ Renju Renjimar slams Shine Tom Chacko

Actor Shine Tom Chacko has come under fire after actress Vincy Aloshious filed a complaint accusing him of misbehaving on a film set under the influence of drugs. Following this, the action has been initiated based on her complaint, and several film industry organisations have come forward in support of Vincy.
Renju Renjimar, the makeup artist for actress Mamta Mohandas on the sets of the film Live, recently spoke out about Shine’s problematic behavior during the shoot. However, Live’s director V. K. Prakash and others dismissed her criticisms at the time. Now, Renju has once again brought up the incident.
In a Facebook post, Renju wrote:
"When I once called out this actor’s inappropriate behavior, several people from the inner circles privately appreciated me. But within moments, fingers were pointed at me. The actor, his family, and the director asked me to stay quiet, saying they’d handle the situation and requested an apology. But I stood firm. The only person who supported me was the actress from that film (I’m not naming her without consent). I completed that project."
"Even recently, during the IFFA event in Abu Dhabi, I personally witnessed his antics. Yet some actresses praised him on television panels. I and my fellow professionals have experienced firsthand the fake persona he puts on in his films. In what sense is he a 'good actor'? Aren’t all his films the same type? Still, some people try to whitewash him."
Following Vincy’s complaint, more people have begun to come forward with allegations against Shine. Vincy, however, expressed her disappointment that the details of her complaint was leaked.
"I believed everything would remain confidential. I have no idea how it got out. I never intended to reveal the actor’s name or the film publicly. Filing a formal complaint wasn’t entirely my decision. There’s a procedure, and I only shared my side. I never expected this level of media coverage. Whoever leaked the complaint acted wrongly," Vincy told the media.
She also added that the public disclosure of Shine’s name could negatively affect the films he’s currently working on, which is why she had initially chosen not to name him.
