At the audio launch of Vijay's swansong film Jana Nayagan, director H Vinoth reassured fans of a complete Vijay film experience amid speculations that the highly anticipated film is a remake of Telugu superstar Balakrishna's Bhagavanth Kesari.

Speaking to the Malaysian audience, H Vinoth remarked, "Many people are curious if Jana Nayagan will truly live up to Vijay’s legacy. Some call it a remake, others wonder if it’s partly inspired, and a few are even trying to spoil the experience. To all of them, I want to say one thing — this is a Thalapathy Vijay film."

He emphasized that regardless of the rumors, the film is very much an original Vijay venture, aimed at delivering the excitement and essence that fans have come to expect from the superstar.

Discussing what audiences can expect from Jana Nayagan, he said, "The film is fully engaging and entertaining. It features sequences for joyous song and dance, as well as moments that encourage reflection on its underlying message. The last fifteen minutes serve as a farewell, but they are not heavy or tearful. Instead, they aim to leave viewers with a sense of hope, because for Thalapathy Vijay, there is no real ‘the end.’”
Excitement is building as Jana Nayagan gears up for its Pongal release on January 9. Besides Vijay, the film features an ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Priyamani, and Mamitha Baiju. (With inputs from Agencies)
