“Eda mone! Love you,” Mohanlal’s photo with Fahadh Faasil shakes up social media

A recent photo shared by actor Mohanlal is quickly capturing attention in social media platforms. The picture shows Fahad Faasil hugging Mohanlal and giving him a cheek peck, and it has gone viral in no time.

The picture, which Mohanlal posted with the caption "Eda Mone! Love you," has sparked a flurry of comments from fans and fellow celebrities. The caption, "Eda Mone," a memorable line from FaFa's recent blockbuster 'Aavesham', has apparently excited fans the most.

In the photo, Mohanlal is wearing a shirt reminiscent of the costume from his film ‘Jailer’, making the post even more special for fans.

Several celebrities, including actors and social media influencers as well as regional and outside kerala actors have commented on the picture. Interestingly, Zee5Tamil’s instagram handle also commented on the photo, which read, “We got the hint! Lalettan and Rangan Chettan are coming together in Manorathangal, releasing on ZEE5 on August 15!” The comment refers to the Malayalam movie anthology which comprises nine movies penned by literary stalwart MT Vasudevan Nair, in which both Mohanlal and Fahad act in separate movies.

Meanwhile, the anthology, titled 'Manoradhangal', will be available on OTT as individual films. Mohanlal stars in 'Olavum Theeravum,' directed by Priyadarshan whereas Mahesh Narayanan and Fahadh Faasil collaborate on the adaptation of the popular short story 'Sherlock’. Mammootty is also part of the anthology through the movie 'Kadugannawa Oru Yathrakkurippu,' an autobiographical account of MT, directed by Ranjith. The trailer launch for the films, which will be available on the Zee 5 OTT platform during the Onam season, took place in Kochi on MT's birthday, on July 15, 2024.
