Mumbai: Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently opened up about her career and personal growth in a candid Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on Instagram. The 37-year-old actress admitted to having made mistakes along the way but embraced them as part of her journey. Samantha shared that she has been going through a challenging phase in her professional life but remains committed to improving and learning from her experiences.

During the session, a fan asked Samantha about her preparation for her upcoming TV series, Citadel: Honey Bunny. Samantha revealed that she has set a personal goal to challenge herself with every role she takes on. The ‘Khushi’ actress responded to a fan, saying, “I made a promise to myself that I'll challenge myself with every role I take on, with each challenge being more difficult than the last. I agree I made some mistakes in the past, and things haven’t really worked out, but I accept failure. I acknowledge that I might not have done my best in my last few films.”

Discussing more on her latest project, “Citadel: Honey Bunny”, Samantha stated, “I’m already proud of it. I genuinely believe this is the most layered, complex, and challenging role I’ve taken on in my career. But I’ll leave it to you to decide.”

Samantha also took a moment to address the ongoing body-shaming comments she has faced. Responding to those who criticised her body weight, she delivered a powerful message advocating for self-acceptance.

Samantha is all set to lead the action-thriller series Citadel: Honey Bunny, which is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video on November 7. The show features a star-studded cast, including K. K. Menon, Saqib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher, promising an engaging and thrilling experience for viewers.
