Voice artist Bhagyalakshmi have shown their support for actor Vincy Aloshious, who recently alleged that she had a disturbing experience with a co-actor under the influence of drugs during a film shoot. Vincy had opened up about a troubling experience with a lead actor during a film shoot, where she claimed he used drugs on set. She said this made things uncomfortable for her and another female actor.

Bhagyalakshmi backs Vincy's courage

Bhagyalakshmi praised Vincy for taking such a strong step, saying it’s not easy for a young actor to make such a bold move in the film industry. She also admired Vincy's confidence in her own future in Malayalam cinema.

“Vincy said she loves cinema, but stated she can survive without cinema too. I could see confidence in her words. I wish all women artists could take such a strong stand in such issues in the industry. Great, Vincy,” she wrote.

Bhagyalakshmi also criticised those questioning why Vincy hasn’t named the actor involved. She pointed out that revealing the name might only lead to more trouble for Vincy.

“Will you take action if she names the person? She is already being cyberbullied for her strong stand. What happens if she names the person? His fans too would slam her for her remarks,” she added.

Actor Sruthi Rajanikanth also opened up, saying she had a similar experience on a film set and decided to walk away after being treated badly by another actor. She said people are not always what they seem in the industry.

“Some people may look decent and nice. But the reality is different. I am not surprised by Vincy's remarks. It is wrong to utilise drugs in open spaces and be a public nuisance,” Sruthi said.
