Asif Ali thriller 'Rekhachithram' to stream on OTT from March 7

The highly anticipated Malayalam mystery crime thriller Rekhachithram made a significant impact during its theatrical release. The film captivated audiences and earned over Rs 75 crore at the box office, showcasing its widespread popularity.

Produced by Venu Kunnappilly under Kavya Film Company and directed by Jofin T Chacko, Rekhachithram is set to release on the OTT platform Sony LIV on 7 March 2025.

Set in the scenic surroundings of Malakkappara, Rekhachithram follows police inspector Vivek (played by Asif Ali) as he investigates a baffling suicide case. What initially appears to be a straightforward investigation quickly spirals into a web of secrets, uncovering a long-forgotten missing person’s case linked to a mysterious film shoot. With unexpected twists, gripping suspense, and powerful performances, the film has received critical acclaim for its unique narrative.

The film features an impressive ensemble cast, including Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan, Manoj K. Jayan, Siddique, Jagadish, Saikumar, and Harisree Ashokan, all of whom bring depth to the story.

The film’s music is composed by Mujeeb Majeed, with choreography by Santhy Master. The screenplay has been written by John Manthrickal and Ramu Sunil, while the story is by Ramu Sunil.
