Actress Lena shares NASA moments, thanks husband Prashant Nair for the incredible experience

Actress Lena shared pictures from the NASA Space Center, expressing gratitude to her husband, Prashant Nair, for what she described as an unforgettable experience.

SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Dragon spacecraft had lifted off with four astronauts, including India’s Shubanshu Shukla, the other day.

Lena’s husband, Prashant Balakrishnan Nair, was the backup pilot for the Axiom-4 mission. In the event that Shubanshu Shukla had to withdraw for any reason, Prashant was designated as his replacement. Both Prashant and Shubanshu had undergone training at Axiom Space, a private space company.

Prashant was present at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida until the launch was completed on Wednesday. The video he filmed from there was shared by Lena on social media the following day.

Lena got married on January 17, 2024 — a fact she herself revealed publicly. She also announced through social media that her husband is Air Force Group Captain Prashant Balakrishnan Nair, a member of India’s Gaganyaan astronaut team. She added that they had waited to share the news until after the official announcement of the astronaut crew.
