Siddique celebrates 62nd birthday with family while facing ongoing rape case

Kochi: Actor Siddique celebrated his 62nd birthday at home with his family. His son, Shaheen Siddique, shared heartwarming pictures on Instagram, captioned "Happy Bday Vapichi." The photos feature Siddique alongside Shaheen, his wife, their daughter, and others.

Shaheen recently welcomed a baby girl and also posted pictures from the naming ceremony for the child.

In recent news, Siddique was granted interim bail by the Supreme Court in a case involving the alleged rape of a young actress. This decision came after the Kerala High Court had denied him anticipatory bail, leading Siddique to go into hiding for a time.

Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi and Advocate Ranjeeta Rohatgi represented Siddique in the apex court.

Earlier, the Kerala Police issued a lookout notice against actor Siddique, suspecting he may have fled the state in connection with the case. The notice has been issued to all district police chiefs in Kerala, as well as the police chiefs of all other states.

The museum police in Thiruvananthapuram registered a case against Siddique on August 27 under charges of rape and criminal intimidation, based on the complaint filed by a young actress. Siddique categorically denied the allegation.
