Dharmendra prayer meet: Bobby Deol, Malaika Arora, Suniel Shetty among celebs paying last respects

A prayer meet for Bollywood’s legendary actor Dharmendra was held on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Seaside Lawns, Taj Lands End, Bandra, where fans, family members, and film industry colleagues gathered to pay their final respects. The solemn event, called a “Celebration of Life,” brought together several celebrities who came to honour the late icon.

Karan Deol, son of Sunny Deol, was among the early arrivals at his grandfather’s prayer meet.

Bobby Deol appeared visibly emotional as he entered the venue, keeping his face partially covered from cameras while quietly offering his final respects to his father.

Malaika Arora arrived with her son Arhaan Khan, while Suniel Shetty was also seen entering the prayer meet—his team requesting photographers not to film as his car drove in.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra attended the ceremony alone, paying his tribute to the veteran star. Ahead of the gathering, Hema Malini shared a deeply emotional note and unseen photographs of Dharmendra on X. In her heartfelt message, she wrote:

“Dharam ji❤️ He was many things to me. Loving Husband, adoring Father of our two girls, Esha & Ahaana, Friend, Philosopher, Guide, Poet, my ‘go to’ person in all times of need — in fact, he was everything to me!”

Calling her personal loss “indescribable,” Hema added that the “vacuum created is something that will last through the rest of my life,” reflecting on their years of togetherness and the memories she will cherish forever.
