IRCTC unveils 'Sabarimala' tour package for pilgrims: Check itinerary, price, and other details

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Ltd. has launched a special "Sabarimala Yatra" tour package designed for devotees travelling to the hill shrine of Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala.
Scheduled to begin on November 16, 2024, the 4-night, 5-day journey offers an opportunity for pilgrims to experience the spiritual ambience of Sannidhanam and the Chottanikkara Devi Temple.
The tour accommodates 716 passengers across Sleeper (SL: 460 seats), 3AC (206 seats), and 2AC (50 seats), catering to different comfort levels. The package provides a structured journey for spiritual seekers, allowing them to explore these prominent temples in a guided, comfortable setting.
The journey will commence from Secunderabad and offers boarding and de-boarding options at various stations including Nalgonda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, and Chittoor, providing convenience for travellers across the region.

The tour package offers different classes to suit varying budgets:
- Economy: ₹11,475 per adult | ₹10,655 per child (ages 5-11)
- Standard: ₹18,790 per adult | ₹17,700 per child
- Comfort: ₹24,215 per adult | ₹22,910 per child
Single travellers will share occupancy with other passengers booked in the same category.
