IndiGo soars high this new year with new domestic and international routes

The new year has been remarkable for IndiGo so far as the airline, true to its words have embarked on a robust domestic and international expansion spree. On the domestic front, IndiGo has launched a direct Ahmedabad-Kishangarh flight, starting March 1, 2025, marking Kishangarh as IndiGo’s 91st domestic and 129th overall destination.
This new route not only strengthens IndiGo’s presence in Rajasthan but also caters to the increasing demand for seamless travel to Kishangarh, popularly known as the ‘Marble City of India. With the launch of this new route, IndiGo now operates over 550 weekly flights from Ahmedabad to 36 domestic destinations, making it a crucial hub in Western India.

After domestic expansion, IndiGo has set its eyes on international skies by launching a new direct flight connecting Kochi and Ras Al Khaimah providing seamless travel options for passengers from Kerala to UAE. The daily flights are set to commence from March 15, 2025.
With a growing number of Keralites living and working in the UAE, the demand for frequent and efficient travel options has been on the rise. IndiGo’s latest initiative aims to bridge this gap by offering a non-stop connection between Kochi’s Cochin International Airport (COK) and Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT).
This strategic expansion not only strengthens Indo-UAE travel links but also enhances trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between the two destinations.
With the addition of these flights, IndiGo will now offer a total of 49 weekly direct flights between Kerala and the UAE, and over 250 weekly flights overall between India and the UAE.
The introduction of the Kochi–Ras Al Khaimah route aligns with IndiGo’s broader vision of expanding its international footprint.
