ICAI CA Exam 2025: Know date, timetable for foundation, intermediate, and final exams
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released the ICAI CA September Exam 2025 datesheet. The timetable has been released for the final, inter, and foundation courses.
Official portal and details: Candidates may access Detailed instructions regarding examination form filling, fee payment, and other formalities are available on the ICAI’s e-services portal and the official website, www.icai.org.
Where to apply online: Candidates must apply online through the Self-Service Portal (SSP) at https://www.icai.org/.
First-time applicants can register on the SSP platform using their SRN (Student Registration Number) and update their details, including photo and signature.
Exam dates: According to the schedule, Group 1's final course exam is scheduled for September 3, 6, and 8, 2025, while Group 2's is scheduled for September 10, 12, and 14. Group 1's intermediate course test is scheduled for September 4, 7, and 9, 2025, while Group 2's exam is scheduled for September 11, 13, and 15, 2025. The dates of the foundation course test are September 16, 18, 20, and 22, 2025.
The foundation exam's Papers 3 and 4 will be two hours long. In a similar vein, Paper 6 of the Final Exam lasts four hours. All other tests, however, take three hours to complete. There will be no advance reading time for Foundation Examination Papers 3 and 4, but for all other papers and exams listed above, there will be a 15-minute advance reading period from 1.45 PM (IST) to 2 PM (IST).
Application forms: They will be accessible online from July 5, 2025, and they can be submitted until July 18, 2025, without incurring late fines. Forms will be accepted till July 21, 2025, with a late fee of ₹600 (or $10 USD for foreign centers). The timeframe from July 22 to July 24, 2025, will allow candidates to modify or change their desired exam city or medium.
