Apply for IIT Mandi summer internship 2025 and earn ₹10,000 per month
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has invited applications for summer internships for 2025 aimed at introducing undergraduate and postgraduate students to research so as to enthuse them, and to get them interested in a career in teaching and research.
This is a residential programme to be held during May-July 2025 that combines hands-on research training with a variety of hardware and software analysis tools. The minimum duration of an internship is one month and the maximum is two months.
Eligibility: The programme is open only for candidates of institute(s)/college(s)/universities having MoU(s) signed with IIT Mandi. Applicants should be pre-final (3rd year) students of a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology or pre-final (1st year) postgraduate students.

Guides and Research Areas Available for Internship in Summer 2025 are given in the Notification. Applicants need to specify the proposed area of work of potential supervisor.
The interns are expected to work under the mentorship of IIT Mandi faculty member(s) in different areas.
Selected interns will be supported financially at Rs. 10,000/- per month. Travel and living expenses will have to be borne by the intern.
Screening of interns will be done by the schools/centres based on the credentials of applicants. Shortlisting and selection criteria may be different for different schools and centres. Selected students will be informed through e-mail. Selected candidates will have to arrange a letter of recommendation/NOC from their institute.
