Research Associate/Teaching Associate at Indian Institute of Management Shillong

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong; has invited applications for the position of Research Associate / Teaching Associate.

The engagement is purely temporary in nature and valid for a period of 1 year which may be extended at the discretion of the competent authority. 

Those selected would be Managing research sources, supervising research teams, conducting research work, analysing data, securing funds and participants, writing reports etc. Teaching Assistantship (TA) are expected to support the lead instructor by facilitating learning through leading discussions and review sessions; to handle grading and provide feedback to help students improve and offer administrative and personalized student support to enhance the overall educational experience and take up any other responsibility assigned by the Institute.

Qualification: Master’s Degree/Professional qualification in the relevant field with minimum 55% aggregate marks and some research experience. Preference will be given to those having experience in designing and conducting surveys, coordinating with various organizations, and developing research reports/articles. 

Desirable: PhD with Good quantitative background with proficiency in conducting survey research, and experiments, and experience in qualitative research in the form of conducting focused groups discussions & interviews would be an added advantage. 

Age Limit: Preferably below 30 years 

Consolidated remuneration will be between Rs. 35,000/- and Rs. 45,000/- per month.
