Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has commenced the activities related to the Mop Up Phase of allotment to fill the vacant seats that exist/arise after second phase of centralized allotment for admission to Three Year LL.B Course in Government Law Colleges and Private Self-financing Law Colleges for 2023-24.

Those who have figured in the rank list of Three Year LL.B Course 2023 published by CEE and satisfy eligibility criteria as per clause 6 of the Prospectus can register fresh options and participate in this phase of allotment.

Registration Fees: Those who want to register options only to Govt. Law Colleges have to pay an amount of Rs.1575/- (amount fixed as Annual Tuition Fee) as registration fee to the CEE. Candidates who want to register options to Self-Financing Law colleges have to pay an amount of Rs.10000/- (one-third of the annual tuition fee of Self-financing colleges, only) as Registration fee to CEE. Candidates can register options to both Govt. and self-Financing Law Colleges by paying an amount applicable to self-financing colleges. SC/ST/OE/other categories specified in the Notification are exempted from mop-up registration fee.

The registration fee of candidates, who do not get any allotment in the mop - up phase will be refunded, and the registration fee of those candidates who do not join the course if allotted through the mop up phase will be treated as penalty and will not be refunded.

Option Registration can be done through the Home Page of the candidate at www.cee.kerala.gov.in, till 3 pm on 06.11.2023. Provisional Allotment will be published on 07.11.2023 and final allotment on 08.11.2023.

Candidates who get allotment have to join the allotted college with all original certificates as given in the prospectus clause 18 within the stipulated time to be announced by the CEE. They should remit applicable tuition fee, other fees and deposits (if applicable) in the college at the time of admission.

If no seat is allotted to a candidate in mop-up allotment, the existing admission, if any, shall prevail. If a seat is allotted in the mop-up allotment, the existing admission, if any, will stand cancelled and the candidate will have to accept the new allotment. Hence candidates should register options to only those colleges where they want to study for the course if they get an allotment.

Probable vacancies due up-gradations to higher options or category conversions will also be filled up in the Mop-up allotment based on the options for the mop-up allotment. Hence, candidates should take into account probable vacancies also in addition to the real vacancies available at the start of the mop-up phase of the allotment process.

The seats received through Mop up allotment cannot be changed further at any instance. Candidates who are allotted a seat in the mop-up allotment (irrespective of the admission status) will not be eligible for any subsequent allotments.

After the Mop Up Allotment, if vacancies exist/arise, such vacancies will be filled through Stray Vacancy Filling Allotment for which, options registered by candidates for Mop Up Round will be considered. Notification regarding the same will be issued later.

Those admitted to the course through previous phases of allotment by CEE can avail free exit from the course till the last date of option registration to Mop Up Allotment. Candidates shall be liable for penalty if they vacate seats or obtain T.C after the last date of option registration for Mop Up Allotment.
