Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design at Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala
Institute of Fashion Technology Kerala, Vellimon West PO, Kundara,
Kollam – 691511, established in Technical Collaboration with National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), managed by Centre for Continuing Education Kerala and affiliated to University of Kerala has invited applications for admission to the four-years full time Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Degree in Fashion Design 2024-25.
Eligibility: Applicant should have passed 12th Standard Examination from the recognised board of Education.
Selection: Admissions to Bachelor of Design Degree course (B.Des) -Fashion Design will be based on the performance in an Aptitude Test conducted by LBS Centre for Science and Technology for IFTK
Aptitude test comprises General Ability test & Creative Ability Test. The General Ability Test will have questions from (i) Quantitative Ability (ii) Communication Ability (iii) English Comprehension (iv) Analytical Ability and (v) General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
The Creative Ability Test (CAT) is aimed at judging the skill, power of observation, innovation and design ability of the candidate including the candidate's use of colour and illustration.
Application: Applications can be submitted online latest by 31.5.2024
Application fee is Rs.1500/- (Rs. 750/- for SC/ST) which can be paid online.
Entrance Examination will be conducted in the 2nd Week of June 2024 at Centres in Thiruvananthapuram. Examination date will be announced later.
Classes will commence in the first week of July 2024
Reservation of Seats: Seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC are as per the Kerala Government and University of Kerala norms. 10% of seats are also reserved for Economical Weaker Section (EWS) students.
