
Mysuru: A private bus heading from Bengaluru to Kerala caught fire in Maddur, Karnataka, on Sunday. Fortunately, all passengers are safe, and no injuries have been reported.
The incident happened around 1:30 AM when the bus operated by 'Ashoka Travels', en route to Kannur, caught fire. The fire started at the rear of the bus. Upon noticing the flames, the driver immediately stopped the vehicle and safely evacuated all passengers. The luggage was also removed in time.
Bus staff, along with firefighters from Maddur, managed to extinguish the fire. The passengers were later accommodated on other buses to continue their journey to Kannur. Meanwhile, it's unclear what caused the fire.
