Vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest smartphones—the foldable X Fold5 and the compact flagship X200 FE—on Monday. Both devices will soon be available on Flipkart and Vivo’s official website. With this dual launch, Vivo is looking to take on rivals like Samsung in the foldable market while also delivering a high-end yet budget-friendly option for users who prefer compact smartphones.

Vivo X Fold5: Sleek design, Zeiss cameras and massive battery

The Vivo X Fold5 is positioned to challenge Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7, offering a premium foldable experience. It features a 6.53-inch AMOLED outer display and an expansive 8.03-inch inner AMOLED panel, both with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Weighing just 217 grams and measuring 9.2 mm when folded, and 4.3 mm when unfolded it stands out as one of the slimmest and lightest foldables currently available.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and comes with up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage. The device houses a 6,000 mAh silicon-anode battery, supporting 80 W wired and 40 W wireless FlashCharge. Vivo claims the phone offers up to 80.67 hours of music playback and standby time of 8.8 days.

The ZEISS Co-engineered Imaging System enhances photo clarity, offering detailed shots. Stage Mode detects performances and adjusts focus and exposure automatically for sharp results. The rear setup includes three 50 MP sensors with up to 100x zoom and two 20 MP front cameras.

On the durability front, the phone comes with IPX8 and IPX9 ratings for water resistance, IP5X dust protection, and freeze resistance down to –20°C. New AI features like Gemini Assistant, AI Magic Move, and AI Erase are integrated into the system, alongside a tactile Shortcut button. The Vivo X Fold 5 is expected to be priced around ₹1,49,999.

Vivo X200 FE: Compact powerhouse with 100x zoom and fast charging

For users seeking a smaller form factor, the Vivo X200 FE delivers top-tier performance in a compact body. It features a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness.

Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor and comes with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The device is backed by a 6,500 mAh battery that supports 90 W fast charging. It holds IP68 and IP69 certifications for water and dust resistance.

Camera capabilities include a ZEISS-branded 50 MP primary sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 100x zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The phone operates on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and supports Google’s Gemini AI Assistant.

The X200 FE will be offered in three colour options—Amber Yellow, Forest Blue, and Luxe Grey. The expected pricing is ₹54,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model and ₹59,999 for the 16 GB + 512 GB variant.
