Nothing confirms launch of Nothing Phone (3a) Lite on October 29: Expected price and specs

London-based tech company Nothing has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite.

The announcement was made on X (formerly Twitter), where the brand posted, “Phone (3a) Lite. 29.10. 13.00 GMT. Light up the everyday.”

According to the post, the launch event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 1 pm GMT (6:30 pm IST). Alongside the confirmation, the company also teased the design of the handset, showcasing an LED light on the rear panel, which is expected to serve as a notification indicator.

While the teaser gives a glimpse of the phone’s aesthetic, Nothing has yet to share details about the specifications, features, or price of the upcoming model. However, the device is anticipated to offer a blend of premium design and performance at an accessible price point.

Earlier, a device from Nothing, carrying the model number A001T, was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The listing indicated the handset will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chipset paired with a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU. It is expected to be paired with 8GB of RAM and might come with Android 15 straight out of the box.

In Geekbench testing, the device recorded a single-core score of 1003 and a multi-core score of 2925, indicating mid-range performance aimed at efficient and smooth daily usage.

The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is also expected to arrive in black and white colour variants. Reports suggest that the upcoming model will be priced below the Nothing Phone (3a), which debuted in March 2025 at a starting price of ₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration.
