Flipkart’s much-anticipated Diwali sale has kicked off with massive discounts on smartphones and electronic gadgets, drawing a flood of eager shoppers. Among the most eye-catching offers is the Nothing Phone (3), listed for as low as ₹39,999—almost half its launch price of ₹79,999. However, the excitement soon turned into frustration for many customers who claimed their confirmed orders were cancelled or delayed, echoing the earlier iPhone 16 fiasco during Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale.

Nothing Phone (3) orders reportedly cancelled during Flipkart sale

Within hours of the sale going live, users took to X (formerly Twitter) to share complaints about their Nothing Phone (3) orders being abruptly cancelled. Several posts featured screenshots of cancellations with the reason stated as “incorrectly listed price.”

A user named Abhishek Yadav shared one such example, revealing his order for the Nothing Phone (3)—priced at ₹26,000—was cancelled by the seller. He remarked that those who purchased their phones through Flipkart Minutes and received them the previous night were “the lucky ones.” His shared screenshot showed a full refund of ₹23,956 along with 50 reward coins credited to his account.

Some shoppers manage to grab the deal

Despite widespread frustration, a few early buyers managed to successfully order and receive the Nothing Phone (3), particularly those who placed their purchases through Flipkart Minutes. These customers received their units at heavily reduced prices, suggesting that while Flipkart’s systems may have faltered under heavy demand, a handful of lucky shoppers still benefited from genuine discounts.

The complaints mirror a familiar situation from Flipkart’s Big Billion Day Sale earlier this year, when customers faced similar issues while purchasing the iPhone 16 (128GB) at discounted prices. Once again, buyers are voicing concerns about inconsistency in Flipkart’s sale fulfilment process.
