'There will be either peace or tragedy...Many targets left': Trump warns Iran after US strike on nuclear sites | WATCH

Washington: US President Donald Trump, addressing the nation after a major American military strike on three of Iran’s nuclear facilities, warned of further action if peace is not achieved. Calling the operation a decisive success, Trump said Iran now faces a choice between harmony and devastation.
“This cannot continue. There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran, far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days. Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight's was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes."
The strikes, part of a coordinated military campaign codenamed Operation Rising Lion, mark one of the most aggressive US actions against Iran in decades. According to the president, the targeted facilities, key to Iran’s nuclear ambitions, were “completely and totally obliterated.”
Trump described the mission as a complete tactical success, "Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror. Tonight. I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated."
This action comes after more than a week of intensifying Iran-Israel hostilities, including missile exchanges and the threat of open regional war. Tensions have spiralled rapidly, prompting fears of an uncontrollable escalation in the Middle East.
In his address, Trump extended personal gratitude to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, highlighting the close US-Israel collaboration that underpinned the operation. "I thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We worked as a team like perhaps no team has worked before, and we've gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they've done, and most importantly, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight and all of the United States military on an operation the likes of which the world has not seen in many, many decades..."
Netanyahu praises Trump's bold move
Netanyahu, for his part, responded with glowing praise for Trump's leadership.
"America has been truly unsurpassed. It has done what no other country on earth could do. History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world's most dangerous regime, the world's most dangerous weapons..." says Israeli PM.
He added, "Congratulations, President Trump. Your bold decision to target Iran's nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history."
The Israeli leader also acknowledged Israel’s role in Operation Rising Lion, stating that while Israeli forces had conducted “truly amazing things,” it was the American strike that landed the decisive blow.
