Warner Bros. and Yas Island developer Miral are embarking on a remarkable expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, welcoming the region’s first-ever Harry Potter-themed land – a major milestone for Middle East tourism.

Set to become part of the world’s largest indoor theme park, the new themed land promises to bring to life iconic locations from the Harry Potter universe – with immersive experiences inspired by the beloved films and books. While construction has already begun, no official opening date has been confirmed yet.

This substantial addition will join the park’s existing six immersive zones – Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City, and Metropolis – bringing a fresh dimension of enchantment to visitors.

According to Daily Mail UK, “the project will be the fifth global installment of a Harry Potter-themed park after Florida, California, Beijing and Osaka.”

When can fans expect to visit?

Although no date has been officially announced, observers anticipate that construction could extend into 2026 or beyond, given the project’s scope and Yas Island’s busy schedule of attractions.

For Indian visitors and Potter enthusiasts, this expansion offers a magical addition to Yas Island’s existing attractions, already including Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, SeaWorld, and the current Warner Bros. park. The new Harry Potter land enhances the island’s appeal as a family-friendly and nostalgia-rich destination, especially during India’s festival and holiday seasons.
