IRGC launches ‘Haj Qassem’ missile in 59th Wave of Operation True Promise 4 |WATCH

Tehran: The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched a fresh offensive in the 59th wave of Operation True Promise 4, deploying the advanced Haj Qassem missile for the first time, the military announced Tuesday.
According to the IRGC statement, the “effect-based” strikes targeted Israeli positions in Beit Shemesh, Tel Aviv, and occupied al-Quds, while simultaneously hitting regional bases of the US military in Al Udeid, Ali Al Salem, Fujairah, Sheikh Isa, and Erbil.
Precision missiles and drones used
The operation, conducted under the sacred code “Ya Heidar Karrar”, employed suicide drones alongside precision-guided Ghadr, Emad, Fattah, and Haj Qassem missiles. The IRGC described the strikes as part of a “new phase of effective and heavy blows” against the American-Zionist adversary, signalling ongoing escalation in the region.
“The bones of arrogance will be broken in the streets and squares,” the statement warned, highlighting Iran’s commitment to retaliate against what it terms an unprovoked war launched by the US and Israel on February 28.

Context of the strikes
The IRGC framed the latest offensive as a continuation of its legitimate response to attacks on Iranian civilian and military installations, which included the assassination of former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and high-ranking military commanders. Despite ongoing indirect nuclear negotiations, Iran’s forces emphasised the campaign is designed to inflict decisive blows on enemy installations and protect national security.
The operation demonstrates the IRGC’s growing use of advanced missile technology and drone warfare, underlining Tehran’s strategic focus on countering US-Israel operations across the region.
