Teen killed, several injured in shooting at California High School Graduation ceremony

Fairfield, California: One person was killed, and three others were injured in a shooting that erupted during a high school graduation ceremony in Fairfield, California, on Thursday, according to local media reports. Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect, who remains at large.

The shooting happened at Fairfield High School, where a graduation ceremony for Sem Yeto High School was being held at Schafer Stadium.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the school’s parking lot at around 7:15 pm following reports of gunfire. Four people were struck by bullets during the incident.

Police later confirmed that an 18-year-old victim died from injuries sustained in the shooting. The three surviving victims, aged 11, 20 and 25, were transported to the hospital for treatment. The authorities did not immediately release details about their conditions.
