India fuel price tracker: Petrol and diesel rates across metro cities – Feb 16, 2026

As of today (February 16, 2026), petrol and diesel prices in major Indian cities have largely remained stable, with minor fluctuations in some locations. In Mumbai, petrol is priced at ₹103.54 per litre, while diesel stands at ₹90.03 per litre. Most metro cities recorded little or no change compared to yesterday.

Petrol prices in other key cities include ₹94.77 in New Delhi, ₹105.41 in Kolkata, ₹100.84 in Chennai, and ₹102.92 in Bangalore. Some cities saw small adjustments, such as Chennai (-₹0.22) and Noida (+₹0.31). Diesel prices followed a similar trend, with New Delhi at ₹87.67, Kolkata at ₹92.02, and Bangalore at ₹90.99, showing minor increases or decreases in select areas.

Diesel prices in India have been revised daily since June 2017, moving away from the earlier biweekly system. Petrol continues to follow the daily pricing model in most regions. Consumers can expect small day-to-day changes depending on global crude prices and currency fluctuations.
