Petrol prices in India continue to vary across metro cities and state capitals, reflecting daily revisions linked to global crude oil trends, domestic taxation, and currency movements. As of today, Mumbai’s petrol price stands at ₹103.50 per litre, marginally lower than yesterday’s ₹103.54. Among major cities, petrol prices remain unchanged in Delhi, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, while cities like Jaipur and Chennai have recorded notable declines. On the other hand, Gurgaon and Bangalore have seen slight increases.

Diesel prices in India have been revised daily since June 15, 2017, replacing the earlier fortnightly revision system. Currently, diesel rates are stable in several cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, while marginal reductions are observed in Chennai, Jaipur, and Patna. Thiruvananthapuram continues to record some of the highest diesel prices among Indian cities. Overall, fuel prices show minor daily fluctuations, driven by market dynamics rather than sharp structural changes.
