From Air India to Akasa Air, airlines offer special 'Freedom Sale' to woo passengers
Independence Day is just round the corner and all the airlines are vying to grab a large chunk of passengers with exclusive ‘Freedom Sale’ offer on domestic as well as international air fares.
The latest to join the trend is Vistara offering a discounted rate across all cabin classes –
Domestic one-way fare
Bagdogra to Dibrugarh- Economy Class - INR 1578
Mumbai to Ahmedabad – Premium Economy – INR 2678
Mumbai to Ahmedabad – Business Class – INR 9978
For international flights return fares
Delhi to Kathmandu – Economy Class – INR 11,978

To avail these discounts passengers, have to book their tickets before 12.00 hours on August 15, 2024 for travelling till October 31, 2024. The sale is valid on direct flights for one-way travel and return travel in Economy Class, Premium Economy, and Business Class when flying within India.
For international destinations, the discount is availed for Abu Dhabi, Bali, Bangkok, Colombo, Dammam, Dhaka, Dubai, Doha, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Kathmandu, London, Malé, Mauritius, Muscat, and Singapore, Paris for select routes only.
For domestic destinations, the sale fare will only be applicable on base fares, other charges will be added to this fare including convenience fee when the booking is done directly through Vistara. International tickets are inclusive of convenience fees.
At the start of the month, Air India Express launched its "Freedom Sale" named ‘Xpress Lite’ with fares starting from INR 1947, exclusively available on its website. Bookings were open until August 5, 2024 for both domestic and international routes for travel until September 30, 2024.
IndiGo’s Happy IndiGo Day Sale was valid from August 5 to August 8, 2024 offering up to 18% off on flights by using the code HAPPY18. This was a part of IndiGo’s 18th anniversary celebrations.
Meanwhile, Akasa Air is also offering exclusive flight deals up to 20% off. The passengers have to use the code FLYMORE while booking the tickets through their app or website. The offer is valid from August 14, 2024 to August 19, 2024.
