Two arrested for stealing bike at Shoranur railway station

Shoranur: Two Kozhikode youth were apprehended for theft of a bike at Shoranur railway station. Akshay (18 years) and Abhin (19 years) were arrested while attempting to escape on the stolen vehicle. The vehicle belonged to Jishnu, a native of Thrissur.

The duo were found to be habitual offenders and had five cases registered against them. The police said that the boys were involved in petty crimes even before they turned adults. After recording the arrest, both of them were produced at the court, and sent to remand. A team comprising SI K B Shivan and ASI Shahul Hameed nabbed the culprits.
