TP Chandrasekharan's son and RMP leader receive death threat

Kozhikode: The slain leader TP Chandrasekharan's son, Abhinand Chandrasekharan, has received a death warrant in the form of a letter on Tuesday. The letter that was received in the office of MLA, K.K Rema, threatens Abhinand and RMP leader N.Venu of not allowing to live.
It warns not to speak against Thalassery MLA A.N. Shamseer in channel discussions and reminds that the cause of TP's murder was disobedience despite warnings.
Venu filed a complaint at Vadakara SP office and told Mathrubhumi.com that he had received a similar letter in 2014.
According to the letter, TP, who had spoken against the CPM in the media, was hacked 51 times to death and his son’s face will be scattered on the road, like a flower bunch, with 100 hacks.
The letter also states that the ‘quotation’ to kill TP’s son has already been given. Also, the Onchiyam panchayat president was not hacked by the Kannur gang. If it was the Kannur gang, then he would have died on that day itself.
Rema responded that such notices are not new to her. CPM is behind this because they are terrified of strong criticisms against their atrocities and relation with quotation teams and activities. Her son is not active in politics, so the letter aims at her and not her son. The letter has been posted from Kozhikode S M street and it is easy to find the culprit by checking the CCTV footage. She has also urged the police to ensure a transparent probe in this regard.
