Summer rains and strong winds wreak havoc in Mukkam; Houses damaged

Kozhikode: Torrential rains and strong winds hit Mukkam on Saturday night. A coconut tree fell on to a house injuring a woman. The injured was identified as Thankam. The woman sustained injuries on her head and was admitted to the hospital. The kitchen of the house on which the tree had fallen was completely destroyed.

Several other houses in the area were also damaged in a similar manner, and electric supply was disrupted as the lines snapped.
