Ragging: Two Malayali students of Mangaluru college assaulted allegedly for wearing black shoes

Mangaluru: Two Malayali students were brutally assaulted in a ragging incident at Srinivas College in Mangaluru allegedly for wearing black shoes.

The victims, identified as Adarsh and Jasin Khadar, are both first-year students. The assault took place near a tea stall at Gujjarakere. Following the incident, both students were admitted to hospital, where the police subsequently recorded their statements.

According to available information, the seniors who attacked the junior students are also from Kerala. The Pandeshwar Police have registered a case against six second-year students from the Department of Logistics based on the victims' complaint.
