Priyanka Gandhi sends handwritten reply to little girl’s Christmas, New Year greetings

Sulthan Bathery, Kerala: In a heartwarming gesture, Priyanka Gandhi, Wayanad MP, replied to a fourth-standard student's Christmas and New Year greetings with a handwritten note. The letter was sent by Sreya Sabin, a student from Chenad Government School, who had written the card as part of a class project.

As part of her class' introduction to the post office, the students were encouraged to send greeting cards to prominent figures. When asked to choose someone to send her Christmas and New Year greetings to, Sreya immediately thought of Priyanka Gandhi.

Two weeks after sending the card, Sreya received a special reply. Priyanka Gandhi’s message, written in her own handwriting, extended warm Christmas and New Year wishes to Sreya and her family. The heartfelt note brought joy to everyone at the school.

The reply from Priyanka Gandhi was handed to Sreya by Biju, the headmaster of Chenad Government School, during the school assembly. Shreya is the daughter of Sabin and Anjali, who reside in Aaram Mile.
