'Congress ‘prince,’ does not understand India’s youth': PM Modi on Rahul Gandhi in Kochi | WATCH

Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said the people of Kerala are ready to move beyond the politics of the Left and the UDF, while taking aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Addressing a public gathering in Kochi, Modi criticised the Congress “prince,” saying he does not understand the youth of India, including in Kerala, where several companies are engaged in drone manufacturing.
Modi also cited recent BJP victories in the Thrissur Lok Sabha seat and the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, asserting that the party’s success will expand across the state. He added that the government would work to make Kerala a hub for AI and future technologies.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday inaugurated and dedicated to the nation several key development projects worth over Rs 10,000 crore in Kerala, highlighting the government’s focus on infrastructure and technology.
During a series of programmes in the coastal city, Modi launched projects from multiple central ministries, including Petroleum and Natural Gas, Road Transport and Highways, Rural Development, New and Renewable Energy, and Railways. He laid the foundation for a Rs 5,500-crore Polypropylene unit at the Kochi Refinery of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), inaugurated two major highway projects costing over Rs 2,000 crore each, and dedicated railway initiatives worth Rs 142 crore. He also flagged off a new train service aimed at improving regional connectivity and sustainable transport.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Shoranur Junction, Kuttippuram, and Changanassery railway stations.
The prime minister also held a 300-metre road show at Jawaharlal Nehru International Stadium, greeting crowds from an open-top vehicle decorated with flowers. Thousands of supporters lined the streets, waving BJP flags and wearing saffron caps, while chanting Modi’s name. Modi arrived at Kochi International Airport at 11:30 a.m., travelled by helicopter to a naval base, and then by road to Marine Drive for the golden jubilee celebrations of the Akhila Kerala Dheevara Sabha before proceeding to the stadium and project inaugurations.
