Malappuram boy electrocuted to death; two taken into custody

Kondotty: Two people have been taken into custody in connection with the death of a school student in Kuzhinjolam in Kizhisseri. The boy named Sinan was electrocuted to death after he came in contact with illegal fencing around a farmland in the area. The owner of that land and the farmer have been taken into custody by the Kondotty police. The fence was erected to wade away wild pigs.     

Sinan (17), son of Abdurazaq, met with a tragic death around 9:30 PM on Sunday night. The boy was electrocuted after coming in contact with the fence around the farmland of a person named Mohammed, located 500 metres away from his home. Sinan’s friend Shamnad was also injured in the incident. The latter, who is currently undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode medical college is said to be out of danger.
