Major IAS reshuffle in Kerala: New collectors for Thiruvananthapuram, Kasaragod

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: The Kerala government has carried out a major reshuffle of IAS officers in the state, issuing an order making several new appointments and assigning additional responsibilities to senior officials, including department heads and district collectors.
Sriram Venkitaraman has been shifted from his post as Secretary of the Agriculture Department to Joint Secretary of the Forest Department. Snehil Kumar Singh has been appointed Secretary of the Industries Department and will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director of KSIDC.
Food Safety Commissioner Sridhanya Suresh has been appointed Kasaragod District Collector.
Anu Kumari, who was serving as Thiruvananthapuram District Collector, has been appointed Special Commissioner of GST. Lottery Director Anju KS will be the new Thiruvananthapuram District Collector.
Ernakulam District Collector G. Priyanka has been given the additional charge of CEO of the Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority. Renu Raj has been removed from the post of Managing Director of the Kerala Medical Services Corporation.
Arun K. Vijayan has been appointed Director of General Education, while K. Inbasekar has been appointed Director of State Lotteries.
Anu S. Nair has been appointed Food Safety Commissioner, Arjun Pandyan as Director of Agriculture, Dr K. Harikumar as Director of Civil Supplies, Sabin Sameed as Director of Public Relations, Shikha Surendran as Director of KILA, Chelsasini V as Director of Fisheries and D. Dharmalashree as Director of the Suchitwa Mission.
