Incessant rains: Several areas waterlogged in Upper Kuttanad

Thiruvalla: In the wake of incessant rains for the past four days, low-lying areas of the upper Kuttanad regions are getting waterlogged.

As per reports, areas such as Mangalassery, Nedumbram, Kadapra, and nearby panchayats are getting waterlogged by water from Pamba and Manimala rivers. 

It is learnt that water has also entered some parts of houses and rural roads in the area. However, there is no need to open relief camps, tehsildar PA Sunil said.
