Kozhikode: Refuting the allegations raised by Arjun’s family against him, lorry owner Manaf has stated that whoever attempts to crucify him, whatever he has done will remain forever. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Manaf said that people can stone him to death if he has done anything wrong.

“Someone has misled Arjun’s family, and I am ready to resolve the problems through amicable discussion. Whatever happens, I will name the lorry after Arjun. I have nothing against Arjun’s family,” Manaf said.

“What is wrong with creating a YouTube channel? I have started a YouTube channel to speak to people. I had mentioned that this channel would become meaningless once we find Arjun. There are only around 5,000 subscribers for this channel. What is wrong with it? It was only by creating an emotional impact among the people of Kerala that the issue of Arjun was brought to their attention. If you think it’s emotional, I have no problem,” Manaf stated.

He responded emotionally to the allegation from family members that he had delayed the search by two days. “Arjun’s mother is my mother. Let her denounce me. I still see them as my family. Now, they say something without thinking it through. They had done this before as well. I don’t take it seriously. If they have any problems in the future, I will be with them. I would do that for any person working with me,” Manaf said.

“I have not received money from anybody. They could have raised these allegations before retrieving Arjun’s body. Even if they all denounce me, they are my family. There are some people behind this; I have no clear idea about it. The action committee had invited me to go with them to meet the Chief Minister. Then, Jithin said that there was no need to go to Thiruvananthapuram to meet the CM as he is available over the phone anytime. But I went with the action committee. I would have gone to America as well for Arjun. I think they are quite upset with the hype I have received through the media regarding this,” he said.
