Kozhikode: Doctors at the Government Medical College, Kozhikode, successfully removed a 23-kilogram ovarian tumour from a 25-year-old woman, health officials confirmed on Monday.

The patient had approached the hospital’s Mother and Child Care Centre after noticing an unusual but painless swelling in her abdomen. Subsequent medical tests revealed an exceptionally large ovarian growth measuring around 45 centimetres in both length and width.
