Kottayam: Train services in Kerala will be affected on 22 and 23 November as Railway Bridge No. 128 on the Mavelikkara–Chengannur section undergoes steel girder replacement, leading to cancellations, diversions, and partial terminations of several trains.

Full Cancellation

• Train No. 66310 Kollam Junction – Ernakulam Junction Express, scheduled to depart from Kollam Junction at 9:05 PM on 22 November, has been fully cancelled.

Partial Cancellations / Short-Terminations

• Train No. 16327 Madurai – Guruvayur Express, scheduled to depart from Madurai at 11:35 PM on 22 November, will be short-terminated at Kollam.
• Train No. 16328 Guruvayur – Madurai Express, scheduled to depart from Guruvayur at 5:50 AM on 23 November, will be partially cancelled between Guruvayur and Kollam. The service will start from Kollam at 12:10 PM.
• Train No. 16366 Nagercoil – Kottayam Express, scheduled to depart from Nagercoil at 1:00 PM on 22 November, will be short-terminated at Kayamkulam Junction.
• Train No. 12695 MGR Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central Superfast Express, scheduled to depart from Chennai Central at 3:20 PM on 21 November, will be short-terminated at Kottayam.
• Train No. 12696 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express, scheduled to depart at 5:15 PM on 22 November, will be partially cancelled between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Kottayam. The service will start from Kottayam at 10:05 PM.

Diversions via Alappuzha

Several trains normally running via Kottayam will be diverted through Alappuzha on 22 November:

• Train No. 12624 Thiruvananthapuram Central – MGR Chennai Central Superfast Express, departing 3:00 PM from Thiruvananthapuram Central.
• Train No. 16312 Thiruvananthapuram North – Sri Ganganagar Weekly Express, departing 3:45 PM from Thiruvananthapuram North.
• Train No. 01464 Thiruvananthapuram North – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Weekly Special, departing 4:20 PM from Thiruvananthapuram North, with additional stops at Alappuzha, Cherthala, and Ernakulam Junction.
• Train No. 16319 Thiruvananthapuram North – SMVT Bengaluru Humsafar Express, departing 6:05 PM from Thiruvananthapuram North.
• Train No. 16629 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Malabar Express, departing 6:40 PM from Thiruvananthapuram Central.
• Train No. 22503 Kanyakumari – Dibrugarh Vivek Superfast Express, departing 5:25 PM from Kanyakumari.
• Train No. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Rameswaram Amritha Express, departing 8:30 PM from Thiruvananthapuram Central.
• Train No. 16349 Thiruvananthapuram North – Nilambur Road Rajyarani Express, departing 9:00 PM from Thiruvananthapuram North.
• Train No. 16347 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central Express, departing 8:55 PM from Thiruvananthapuram Central.
